Crocs are Hideous

Our Tango Friends and Fellow Tango Bloggers wrote about the essential Packing List (http://ireneandmanyung.blogspot.com/2008/07/packing-lists.html) and we were reminded of the hideousness of Crocs. Why are they so damn ugly?! Who decided that cottage/gardening shoes had to make you look like you had Fred Flinstone feet? Worse still, Fred with fluorescent feet!
Of course, it's not enough that these shoes are ugly... nooooo... The ugly shoes have to become the trendiest thing since the last pair of trendiest, ugly shoes:
Who else remembers the Desert Boot of the 80's? Who was crazy enough to own a pair? Not me!
The truth is, Jorge and I actually purchased a pair of the ugly Mo-Fos... BUT... ours are of the slightly less hideous variety... Look!
These will be perfect for the unexpected down-pours that are common in Buenos Aires AND they will massage our tired Tango feets at the end of our dancing nights.
